Captain Whidbey Inn - Coupeville

Loved our stay but your office phone doesn’t work which makes modifying our reservation difficult.

This is my second time visiting The Captain Whidbey, this time for Father's Day with my family. My kids and husband all want to go back! Highlights this time: being able to enjoy a glass of something sparkly on the beach while my kids beachcomb-ed, lots of outdoor spaces for kids to explore and parents could chill, very cozy interiors to rest. We plan to return!

An absolutely incredible and stunning location. Fell in love with everything here. The restaurant is incredible from drinks to dessert to everything in between. The butter was handmade here. The clam chowder had real clams. The potatoes blew my mind. The rooms upstairs in the original cabin have shared bathrooms, but honestly this wasn’t that bad. I thought it would be much worse. It was stunning and so cozy to sleep in these cute comfy rooms! And I appreciate all the details and all the chessboards! The grounds are gorgeous. There’s a lagoon in the back and a full lake in the front. You can use the kayaks, there’s kindling for fires, and they have an in house super cute coffee espresso bar. Overall one of my new favorite places in the whole world. Also shout out to Stevie for the best service at the restaurant!

Eat dinner here! It has a lovely restaurant that has delicious food, an ample amount of drink choices. The decor will bring you back in time to 1907! The exquisite fireplace is stunning, the view is impeccable and the servers treat you well.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary there! It was nice and quiet, very rustic, but the food and service was good!
