Victoria Inn - County Durham

We stayed here for a birthday night away for my wife. What a lovely b n b in a lovely village. The room had everything you need with lots of little touches. They had even got a card and present for my wife. We also took our dog and they had a present for him too. Great people in a lovely setting. Thanks Carolynne and George.

We stayed there because they were on tv programme 4 in a bed.this is an amazing place look forward to coming back.

Superb three night stay , rooms are absolutely immaculate with plenty of tea coffees etc in room, plus the goody bag for the furbaby. Amazing hosts who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. See you all again soon for more gin recommendations. Fantastic place

My wife and I spent a night away at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The hosts were very welcoming when we arrived and the young lady who showed us to our room was delightful. The room was very clean and the ensuite was excellent with provided toiletries. There were plenty of teas and coffees in the room and milk in the fridge on the landing. We went out for a meal and when we returned, the pub was really busy as it was pizza night. Despite the crowd, there was a great selection of beers, ciders, and spirits. The staff were very helpful and it was clear that they worked hard to earn their wages. We would definitely stay here again, especially since the room cost £80 and included breakfast. The breakfast spread included lots of cereals, juices, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

My family stayed at the B&B and they couldn’t speak highly enough of the owners, they had a 5 star stay yet again, the owners really go above and beyond expectations and genuinely care about their guests. We met our family for pizza night to celebrate their Anniversary and had a fantastic time ,staff were very friendly and attentive, they couldn’t do enough for us even though they were very busy. The pub has such a welcoming, homely feel, we didn’t want to leave. Very accommodating for children, our little girl said “I loved it at the pub” We all will definitely return very soon.
