A quiet local pub. We called in for a pint whilst out exploring thel local area. Dogs are welcome and our two were very welcomed in. Very clean, with friendly staff. We had a pint of Wainwright and half a neck oil. Both were really good. Recommended if you're passing by . We did not get food or stay in rooms so cannot comment on those . Hotel highlights: Quiet

I visited Barnard Castle on Saturday and always enjoy going to the cricket with my friend Mick. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the pint was excellent!
