The Burrow - County Durham

I had a prosciutto and arugula sandwich, while my daughter attended an Easter egg painting event. We also brought home some delicious chocolate bowls, pastries, and cakes. The staff was lovely and very courteous, with excellent management that is hard to find. We will definitely be back.

This charming restaurant is a hidden gem. I recently attended a private function for Afternoon Tea and would certainly return. The fact that they have baby changing facilities was a welcomed bonus, as many places seem to overlook this necessity. The food and service were outstanding.

The burrow is a fantastic tee room, one of the best in durham. the selection of food, both hearty and sweet is great, with excellent taste. the interior is beautifully decorated with large spacious tables that can accommodate large parties.
