If you enjoy some of the beautiful walks here, this place is certainly worth calling! the first time it was on my favorite list. very rare it is possible to find a place that is welcoming, not expensive served delicious home cooked food. homemade chips are ineffective hot bark sarnie was delicious. we were all impressed by what we ordered. 100% recommended

Just had a date night with the wife couldn't of asked for anything better from going in to coming out absolutely beautiful and right on our doorstep I can't rate it high enough fantastic service cracking pint and Shaun and Bev are perfect hosts get yourselves down for a fantastic meal at reasonable prices we will definitely be back thank you blacksmiths 5 stars from us

Today for mothers day Sunday evening dinner can not be mistaken the evening meal a bit, pork was delicate lend perfectly cooked, crunchy place on, roastings were nice n fluffy, veg was perfectly cooked, puddings were perfectly gravur boiled delish and there were many veg, maic carrots, papaschips, brokkoli, carrots, cooking. my only grip was the apple crumb, and this is a personal preference not a fault. the apples should disguise for me. that's it, apart from the fact that it was perfect to take my man a Sunday to prove how beautiful it was.

Had a fantastic 3 course Sunday meal absolutely perfect all choices that 4 of us had well done to sara who has filled in for chef since June you are doing a great job And thanks to staff and regulars for spoiling our dog well done all and thank you all for great hospitality
