Sambuca - County Durham

Shocking , cost over £10 for each lunch and both looked like left overs had been scraped into a foil tray .

There were 6 of us for a last minute meal at Sambuccas. Our first time to the Peterlee branch. We phoned to book a table about 30 mins beforehand and were lucky to get one for us all. Once there we were served by Siako who I had also spoken to on the phone and he was a great host. He made us feel comfortable and had a bit of banter and helped us when we asked a million questions. He is a credit to the team! Thank you for a yummy meal. Empty plates all round for starters, mains and desserts!

1st time here. Rang to book a table with it being a Sunday afternoon and was told there were plenty tables.. didn 't think 'oh perhaps it 'll be rubbish! ' but we gave it a try. The outside isn 't very inviting but the service was great, food was excellent and reasonably priced too. Its about a 40 minute drive for us to Sambuca but definitely be back soon. Sunday Lunch was one of the best we 've had and the portions are pretty big too. Definitely one of the better Sambuca 's we 've tried (and we 've tried most of them! Give it a try, you 'll love it

Went for Friday night meal after work. The food and service were fantastic. I ordered sea bass and was amazed at the quality and quantity. My wife's steak was lovely and tender. The service was excellent. and the prices were excellent. My only disappointment was the lack of people in . Come on Peterlee support this excellent restaurant.

So laid back and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Staff will go above and beyond to satisfy any customer. All fresh ingredients seen with my own eyes. All cooked to order. Fantastic prices for their wide delicious menu. Very wide drinks and cocktails menu with fair prices. Kids are warm welcomed by staff. Manager always makes an appearance to thank your custom. Calm and chilled atmosphere down to music and decor. Fantastic service one again. Thank you
