Crook Golf Club - County Durham

The service at this restaurant was really bad. The clubhouse was closed, and the staff in the office seemed uninterested. However, they did apologize professionally. The shop was well-stocked, but the course was just okay. I wouldn't return as there are plenty of other clubs that offer better service.

We organized a family event at this restaurant in October for a wedding reception. The staff was friendly and helpful, the buffet provided was abundant and delicious, and the venue was clean, neat, and reasonably priced. Everything was perfect.

Upon visiting this club for a mixed open, we were warmly welcomed. The course was well-maintained, with challenging greens. We had a satisfying meal at the bar afterwards, which was reasonably priced. We would definitely return in the future.

Went for a family event, the service was very slow. They had two waitresses on who where bringing out plates one at a time where there was over 100 guests. Half the room where finished for over and hour and half before even the back of the room where served. The food was tasteless. For the money that must have been spent appalling service and quality.

Had a carvery here a few weeks back. The Yorkshire pudding was tiny, the meat was dry, flavourless and you didn't get much of it. The gravy was also a big let down, like watered down stock. The veg was nice though, great flavour and well cooked. Wouldn't visit again.
