7 Devils Cafe - Council

Very smoky inside restaurant. Server was not very motivated to assist patrons.

We waited approximately 25 minutes before we were even asked what wanted to drink. It took another 10 minutes for the waitress to bring us our drinks. We then finally got to order our food. By that time two groups of people came and left without being helped. (The two groups both waited 15 plus minutes without any type of service) After another good 15 minute wait we got our food. First thought was the burger looked nasty. Almost a gray color, they tasted horrible. then

Wanted a chicken fried steak dinner. But what I got was unrecognizable. First came with no gravy, sent it back. Then got it with gravy but meat was cold. Had to fight the flies for a bite. Nope, I like to help local businesses but not here, not again. This was at dinnertime on a Saturday evening.

Very polite waitress, took our order and had everything we asked for with our meal. The portions were over abundant on mine : Tons of Tatar Tots Finger Steaks(Over cooked: felt like I was chewing on jerky . But my husband's was kinda skimpy: 6 average sized opinion rings and 3 good sized chicken strips. (Posting pic. It's was a bit chilly inside the Cafe and my husband felt as though he was freezing. The hard widen benches were pretty cold. Otherwise it was clean and

Terrible experience. Upon entering, there was no greeting, smile, or acknowledgment from the staff. The other customers were quite intrusive and demanding. The place appeared to be in very poor condition and had a musty smell. Within the first five seconds of entering, customers should be welcomed or at least acknowledged to create a positive impression. It seems the owner is indifferent to this.
