Big Al's - Council Bluffs

This restaurant is very welcoming and has a friendly atmosphere. You must go to the bar to order your drinks as there are no waitresses serving tables.

If I gave him a zero. The staff is rude and lazy. My Bf and I went there tonight, as we often did, and were gone at 1:30 because they were at 2... okay. Then the other night/morning we said we had to come back at 3 when they were open. Confused because it literally is 2:59 with 30 seconds to 3 and the guy told us we need to come back later when they are open.. Sure, they are serious about adhering to their break 30 before closing and not a second before they open again, that's safe. I could say that the service was the only thing missing, but the food is not much too frying. Save your money and go to me hop at least You get halfway decent service and food because this place was a relaxed more time than no.

I would give this restaurant a zero star rating if I could. The staff here is rude and unprofessional. My boyfriend and I visited the restaurant tonight, as we usually do, but we left at 1:30 because they were closing at 2... seriously? Another time, we tried to go back at 3 when they were supposed to be open, but even though it was 2:59 and just about to turn 3, the guy at the restaurant told us to come back later when they were officially open. It seems like they take their break 30 minutes before closing very seriously and won't open a second earlier than their scheduled time. I could overlook the poor service if the food was good, but unfortunately, it was nothing special. Save your money and go somewhere else like Me Hop where you can at least get decent service and food. This place wasted more of our time than it was worth.

Just a small bar, really not big enough to hold any events there. Limited parking due to other business in the area.

Didn't even make it inside. There were several events of extreme drama while waiting for my friend to arrive. When she arrived, we chose to go somewhere else. Bad vibes.
