Bella's Bakery Cafe - Council Bluffs

The food is incredible! The chicken fried steak is truly the best you can get. The portions are massive! The restaurant has been closed for a long time due to the coronavirus, and right now they’re only offering takeout on Friday and Saturday nights. I can't wait for them to reopen; it feels like forever since they’ve been open!

My sister came to visit, and she asked me to take her back to this restaurant. The prices were quite reasonable, and it gave off the vibe of a New York restaurant that I really enjoyed.

Excellent service and delicious food! The bakery offered fantastic treats, and the café/restaurant served amazing meals with attentive service!

The food is pretty good. This restaurant is never my destination, I'm just coming here when I get past the buffet at the wrong time and find it closed, but it's not bad. The prices are large and the portion sizes are generous. You also have great bakery. The service can sometimes be quite slow and you need to go to use the restroom.

They took off my favorite item...The Fitness Salad. It came with chicken and a yogurt sauce. It was terrific tasting and could easily become a vegitarian or vegan dish. Now almost every item on the menu is meat and grease. Very disappointing. Other than that, it has a very nice atmosphere and the staff is very nice.
