They greeted us warmly by opening the door as we arrived! The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. I was hesitant about trying the smoked fish, but they kindly brought out a sample, and it was fantastic. My wife and I shared a large fish fillet, which was quite generous. It was served hot and fresh! They also offered free hush puppies and okra. The atmosphere was small, charming, and very friendly. We will definitely return!

I visited for the first time, and I have to say... the catfish was excellent! It's the best I've had in a long time! Our server, Allison, was attentive and did a fantastic job. The owner was also very friendly and took the time to chat with us. We definitely enjoyed our experience and highly recommend this place!

The first time. It's been a long time since I had fried catfish, I can actually eat since my last experience in Hagys (Fish tasted like I lick mud). This catfish was a wonderful joy because I believed it! Very recommended and will definitely be back!!
