Pickwick - Counce

I recently visited this place with my dad and brother on our way to a fishing trip near Pickwick Dam. We purchased live shiners for bait, and I was impressed by their selection—much better than many other places, especially since they carry the larger sizes. The store is a mix of a convenience store and a bait shop, and it's quite spacious, offering a good variety in both categories. I think the owner is a fishing guide, which is reflected in the extensive gear they have for sale. It's reassuring to know there's a store like this when you're two hours away from home and need to grab something last minute. The staff was very friendly, and on our way back home, they even stayed open for us to pick up some ice for our catch—she was locking up as we pulled into the driveway! I will definitely come back!
