Market Street Grill Cottonwood

This is literally the first negative OpenTable I've ever written, I've worked in fine restaurants for 12 years and have always believed in good criticism karma and just let it go when I 've had a bad experience somewhere. The market road has now broken this step: The bar seating stands around the bar are beautiful. The lighting is perfect for the date night. The menu is wide and has a lot to offer. Market Street as a whole is a great machine and will continue with or without my review, but has a GM of 5 different restaurants at different times, and a server itself for many years, I would like to know about my service staff. My husband and I made reservations with a cheerful, helpful and enthusiastic Dave for this last Friday night. We mentioned a special opportunity, and he was glad to leave a note for me, and our table reflected that he actually sent the message. We came a little early for drinks and checked with the CUTEST Hostess I 've ever met, Lynda, who nailed it at her job, and I wish we were set right now... she kept us on our table at 8:00 and never forget to check on us at the bar while we enjoyed our first course until it was at 8:00. I ordered a martini that bartender immediately served me, but it started, and I mean running over the edge, on his hand, and on the napkin it was laid on. Leave your guys 'Waschlines on drinks, so ladies don't have to push a drink over the bar and bend over and sip without picking it up. Once we sat at our booth when Kelly took over. We don't look like the older, rich couples we saw around us? But we had to spend some money. Kelly just tells me your order so I can take away the attitude that quickly turned us on this idea. Zero hallo, zero suggestions, not even he checked for our food #1 rule! C 'mon... We took the check after the appetizers and went back to our hotel room via the street ordered room service instead:

After many years often visited (15 per year, at least), we have boycotted this place for about a year because of lousy service for Sunday breaks dinner. Always eat top-notch. In this last Super Bowl Sunday, I took 5 orders from BBQ ribs with sides, plus 2 halibut and a fillet mignon meals that were in the Deli display. The ribs and sides were great. We served a halibut and our guest ate it without comment. Some time later we opened the 2nd halibut and immediately noticed a strong smell about it. There was no sense that 1 out of 2 would be bought together, but we tortured it. The fillet was basically tasteless and desperate chewing. It was also tortured.

We went to the birthday dinner tonight for my husband Charlie. Tornueari was our waitress. It was a wonderful dinner, the best of all we had. My husband had the Heilbutt dinner and I had the best rib. Excellent dinner and our waitress was the best we ever had. Tornueari, was full of professionalism, knowledge and first-class service as well as charm. I myself was a waitress for 18 years and this woman impressed us so much. My husband loved his birthday dinner. Thanks for a nice evening. Sandra Zoolakis

We were on Sunday night for our anniversary dinner. I have always found downtown Market Street to have excellent service and food, but this location is completely different. At the beginning, the hostesses had terrible manners and were hardly polite about waiting, so we decided to sit on the bar side. Our server was slow, but nice. The table was dirty and didn't even seem to be wiped. Drinks were super slow to get out. Then the food was very sub par. Suspended veggies and a medium rare steak that was over medium weight. I'm drunk because we just pulled out of this place. These are problems related to administration, so I will not come back soon.

This was by far the worst dining experience I've ever had. 3 groups seated after us were served before we were. Our server was slow. Brought 3 oyster forks for a party of 5, 15 minutes after the oysters were served.... Market Street aren't you known for being a SEAFOOD restaurant? The server got our drink order wrong. Got our appetizer order wrong. Forgot straws and when he was reminded to bring them he basically threw them on the table. Took the order for sides that he wasn't sure came with entrees, and never verified. He simply said it doesn't come with the order. He did get us the sides. But proper protocol would be to let us know in advance. With all the other options in town, I don't think I'll be going back here again.
