Delicious Sunday roast in a friendly pub in the centre of Moreton in Marsh. Really accommodating for 2 young families, really lovely food that came out very quickly at a reasonable price for how tasty everything was. Definitely recommend. Emailed to reserve in advance which I would recommend as it was full.

I had a delicious main dish with vegetables and salad in a casual atmosphere for a great evening out. The food was high quality and reasonably priced. It appears to be a popular spot and they are dog friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Arrived in area yesterday and booked a table, after reading reviews, for lunch today and were not disappointed. Attentive and welcoming staff with impressive roast dinners and puds to match. I particularly was impressed with the locally made ice cream! We were even helped with a doggy bag ! Cannot fault can only recommend and will visit again when in the area.

We reserved a table for 10 people at 7pm on a Tuesday evening for our Company Christmas party, as suggested by our Managing Director following a successful Summer BBQ at the same restaurant. The menu offered a variety of options, including Turkey as a main course, perfect for the holiday season. It's important to mention that the prices were standard, without any extra charges for it being a Christmas event, which can sometimes happen at other places. Colleagues gave positive feedback on their meals, enjoying both the starters and main courses (although nobody had room for dessert!). The staff were attentive and professional, keeping our drinks topped up and cleaning up after us as we made a mess with Christmas crackers. Our MD commended the Black Bear for their excellent service once again, and we look forward to returning soon.

The food was excellent and the staff were delightful. The atmosphere at the restaurant was cozy, with a warm fire on both nights of our stay, which was much appreciated on a cold evening. Thank you.
