Chez les de Villemure - COTEAU-DU-LAC

I know this adorable resto since we moved in Côteau du Lac.It is located in the center of our pittoresque little town.For us, its always a treat to eat there.We go back in time at the minute we pass the door.Francine,the owner with Michel,is always there to welcome us.The decor is so perfect,that we feel transported back in 1930.Michel is a great chef who knows how to elevate our regional cuisine to the french Cordon Bleu so loved by all the gourmets and gourmands..Hoping Michel and Francine will keep welcoming us in their resto for many years more.Hoping too, that other peolples discover this fabulous little Gem.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We have been 3 times with various friends and everyone has enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Food can be unique and not what you are used to but the taste is great. Milfeuille for dessert is terrific. Have had beef, fish, wild game, shrimp and pasta- all great. Good selection of wines. Reservations are needed and only open 4 nights a week.

Just was a quest here for a wedding perfect venue easy parking very old school Euro very good personel service great wine prices are reasonable considering the quality ambiance and hands on attention by management perfect place for a small wedding especially late afternoon before it gets busy we had a small dining room almost to ourselves and the area itself is very scenic great bike paths and close to Montreal too

I was taken there with my wife for our anniversary last night. It was a very homey decor. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I had a leek soup, my friend had escargot, and my wife had something on toast for an appetizer. All were excellent. My wife and I had a tomato and lettuce salad with goat cheese, My main course was thin slices of beef in sauce, I found the beef a little under cooked and was eating the vegetables when they came immediately, took my plate, and brought it back several minutes later cooked to perfection. They even replaced the vegetables I had eaten. For desert I ordered a mille-feuilles with tea. The service was excellent. The food was hot and tasty. Everything was fresh and made on the premises, Our dishes were licked clean.

My parents have frequented Chez les de Villemure for over 20 years. I am from Edmonton, and whenever I visit, it's a tradition to head over for a lovely dinner. As the years have passed, I have come to appreciate this fine restaurant and the people who have made it what it is - homey, ambient, fine and exclusive. I love it. Thank you to all who have made this restaurant a place to look forward to.
