Looking for a great falafel. This is the place.Don't let the location fool you. The best falafel I've eaten to date in the city. Hits the spot.Many other items on the menu which I will give a try in the future.

Excellent food. Cheap prices. Couldn't believe when I got my order. I wish they had one in Ottawa, too.

I don 't usually write bad reviews, much less about a community food establishment in my backyard. But enough is enough. I 've had bad service and attitude from them for years and I kept my mouth shut. Their food is good and your options are limited when stuck at the Cavendish mall for lunch. I approached the counter to place my order. My husband was on the phone with me telling me what he wanted me to order for him. As I 'm placing my order with the server, I stumbled on my words. I couldn 't remember the name of the coleslaw, so I called it by the Hebrew name. The server, assumed I was talking on the phone and not to him (he is one of the guys whose been there since the establishment opened its doors and one of the guys with the attitude problem) He told me when you 're ready to place your order, let me know and he walked away from me, leaving my order on the counter. I told him, dude, I was just trying to find my words. I 'm on the phone with my husband who 's placing the order through me! . I had to tell him this twice so he could hear me over the noise of the food court. Finally he 's like Oh, I didn 't know that . But by then, I was so upset and ready to cry, that I told him, forget it and I walked away. Honestly!!!! What kind of service is this?! I 'm a loyal customer. They know my face. I 've been going there for over FIFTEEN YEARS. I endured their poor service, but enough is enough. They earned this review and I have no shame. Not anymore.

Food there is mediocre at best. The staff are very disrespectful, condescending and rude. The customer service is awful. Prices are astronomically high, even for kosher food. My only recommendation is to stay as far away from them as possible. Don't give them business, they don't deserve it.
