Contribuiți la feedbackAnother cashier—a friendly young man with blonde hair—approached us and asked if we had been helped yet, to which we responded that we were still waiting. When the first cashier returned, she informed us that dine-in service was closed for a private event but offered to serve us outside. We politely declined her offer. The issue for us wasn't the private event itself; it was that the cashier had completely ignored us until I specifically asked her about the line. She never made eye contact with us, even as she assisted the customer in front of us (who was picking up coffee and not part of the private event) and the women who came in after us. It felt like we were being overlooked intentionally. When I finally got her attention to inquire about the line, that was her chance to inform us about the private event, but instead she said, "Yes, I’ll be with you," and left us waiting even longer without clarification. While I can overlook minor mistakes, being blatantly ignored while other patrons are attended to is unacceptable. At first, my complaint was solely about the cashier’s service, but I find it equally concerning that Barbara—who responded on behalf of the restaurant—seems to lack accountability and is gaslighting the customer.
Came here to have lunch by myself as I waited for my time slot in the Earth Day clothing swap event. Service was so friendly and my server was such a sweetie!I got the cortina skillet, which comes with two eggs, ham, mushrooms, potatoes, and brie. For my drink, I got an iced matcha latte with oat milk. The food and drink both tasted just fine but nothing stood out about either of them. The eggs were supposed to be over easy but both of them were overly done and the yolks were pretty solid. For the price, I was expecting more ham and mushroom but the dish was mostly comprised of potato. My total with tip came out to be about $30 so it was quite pricey! I guess that's to be expected in a trendy place like The Camp but I just didn't think it was worth it.
I love coming here for their pasta and coffee. The Squid Ink Taglioline is so fire and the portions are perfect. Definitely try the Chagaccino too. It's organic, no sugar, keto, and plant based! And it tastes good. :Also, the owner is so sweet and friendly every time we come here! Love eating here at The Camp. The vibes are immaculate.
DO NOT EAT at this restaurant they WILL THROW YOUR ITEMS AWAY while you eat. Our son and 6 friends ate at the restaurant to celebrate our son 's birthday. We asked the staff to hold Sprinkles cupcakes until the end of the meal. During the meal one of the dishwashers took them home. When we asked where they were, the owners son, Gabriel, admitted they were taken home by staff. The owner, Maurice, later called to tell me the cupcakes were taken by accident and mistakes happen . He had no apology and felt no remorse. This establishment has no qualms trashing a child 's birthday cupcakes while he eats in the restaurant. Take your money some place the staff won 't take/toss items customers. When we went back to Sprinkles to buy more cupcakes the manager said, This actually happens more than you think. They see the label and take them. At the end of the day you trashed my sons birthday cupcakes and failed to apologize directly to him. You should be ashamed of yourself.I am not the first and only person to submit a review about his lack of professionalism and I certainly won 't be the last. Direct quote from the owner when we spoke on the phone last night, You want to play. Let 's play! BTW the owner gaslights all low reviews he receives.Notice the owners reply below. A family business that “throws away” a child’s cupcakes on their birthday? Lack accountability much? Thanks Mauricio. We will sing happy birthday to my son over the refund you gave us for trashing his cake. Classy.
I asked if we should even bother coming in, as it was clear we weren’t exactly welcome, and he responded, "Um, it’s up to you." At that point, I decided to hang up and we chose to go to another restaurant, which turned out to be absolutely delicious and very welcoming. We’re new to the area and have generally been disappointed with the dining options so far, but having such a negative experience even before stepping foot in the restaurant was disheartening. I looked for a place that would create a memorable birthday dinner, and I was shocked and upset by the unprofessional attitude I encountered from the host, especially in front of the birthday guest. As someone with a long history in the service industry, I understand the frustration that comes with late arrivals, but a 10-minute delay is hardly a crisis—especially when the restaurant still had 50 minutes of service left. It was obvious we would have been rushed through our meal as the staff hurried to close down. I would recommend that they reconsider taking reservations after 7 PM if they are so eager to close, and remind their management and staff that they ultimately need customers to generate income. After all, this is the hospitality industry, and hosting guests is part of the job. I'm relieved to have caught a glimpse of this attitude before enduring what would have likely been another disappointing experience, but I certainly did not appreciate the rude interaction on what should have been a special occasion. This restaurant is officially off our list.
