California Wok - Costa Mesa

I often have orders from California Wok and have never been disappointed. Your food is so good, not heavy on Gravy, freshly made instead of sitting under a heat lamp. This is my way every time I want Chinese food.

Consistent delicious, high quality food! I've tried several articles on their menu over the past 5 years, and I haven't had any I didn't like! They are also very conscientious about food allergies when you let them know I had no single episode with cross-contamination causing an allergic reaction. You have the delivery to DoorDash, or you can order, either take away, they are pretty fast.

Everything's great. I love the Szetuan chicken. Your hot sauce is the best. How and sour soup. Good.

Definitely better than your average Chinese restaurant in California. Pretty standard menu with all American favorites. The Mongolian beef had a good amount of meat in it and was tasteful

Very average food. Hot and sour soup is somewhat flavorless and needed a shot of soy sauce to liven it up. Orange chicken is overcooked and tough and not really even battered. Also it has a dark molassesy sauce. The Mongolian Beef has an oddly sweet and gingery sauce. The fried rice is ok.
