Sardina Cantina - Costa Azul

This restaurant was recommended by my timeshare and it was within walking distance. My husband wasn't feeling well so I went to get something for myself for dinner. I ordered their chicken enchiladas with green sauce and they were amazing! It came with three good sized enchiladas, rice, beans, salsa, guacamole and sour cream. These were some of the best chicken enchiladas I've had. The portion was so large we ended up eating the rest for breakfast the day of our departure.

This is one of those places we came back to daily for breakfast, lunch or dinner!! Great friendly staff and super accommodating. The food was like art on a plate in addition to tasting delicious!! Super happy we found this gem of a place!! Cant wait to come back!!

Our timeshare is located behind the restaurant and we went several times because it i so good! The food is fresh and made to order and you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is no air conditioning which can be uncomfortable on the hot and humid days. But, I could eat there everyday, especially the clam chowder!

Had the best time and the best meal at Sardinia Cantina! The fresh caught tuna steak was excellent and the seafood chili rellano was so good! I would recommend to anyone in the area to stop by and take a seat at the bar and enjoy a great meal.

This was such a neat small little place that has amazing food. It's in a low key part of San Jose and we did get reservations for our dinner. We had 7 folks in our party and they were able to accommodate us.At the table we had tuna sashimi that was very fresh and melted in your mouth, the special of yellow fin tuna was great with a huge portion, also the other special was yellowtail tuna and it was also a big portion. On the yellow fin, I got the white wine sauce with capers and it was delicious. The wait staff was great and personable. Mango margarita was refreshing. Overall I think this is a hidden gem everyone should stop by for a meal.
