Getsumaloha Kine Grinds - Corvallis

The best Hawaiian spot in Corvallis broke da mouth! And kanaka owned, family owned I got a combo plate with mochiko chicken for my partner and kalua pig for myself. No complaints here, just good food. The desserts they were selling from Kama's Corner were good too! Glad I got to come on a day they had them.

I ordered a mixed plate with mochiko chicken and kalua pig. The chicken had a perfect balance of crunchiness and chewiness, while the kalua pig was moist and deliciously seasoned. I particularly enjoyed that the Mac salad wasn't drowning in mayo. I absolutely loved the food and this might just be one of my favorite places in Corvallis.

I recently tried GetsumAloha for the first time this week. The Kalua Pork was one of the best I've ever had, and their Garlic Chicken was amazing. Even on a Thursday morning, they were already busy with orders. This place is gaining well-deserved attention for their fantastic food.

While Local Boyz is the local favorite. The real locals know the best Hawaiian in town is Get Sum. The, Thur and Fri only, Garlic Chicken is the stuff of legends. The BBQ Chicken is perfect as is the BBQ Beef. Lastly, the Mac salad isn't overly mayo based, like LB, and is perfect with the protein offerings. Get Sum!

I love their food! All the people there are very friendly and kind. Portions are also super generous. The best Hawaiian food in town!
