Villa Oretta - CORTINA D'AMPEZZO

We stumbled upon this restaurant because we were staying nearby...and it ended up being one of the nicest restaurants of our entire trip to Italy. Apparently this restaurant is well known to locals, our waiter told us that many famous Italian people eat there. The restaurant service is fine dining, with top notch waiters and excellent food. We tried the veal meatballs and the meat ravioli...both excellent! Our waiter was Oscar, and he was wonderful. He speaks fluent English, as he lived in the US for a while, and he provided not only top tier service, but we also enjoyed getting to know a bit about him. Highly recommend this place, but we would suggest dressing up, as this is a very upscale restaurant.

We like this place most of all in Cortina, trying to visit it every trip! Best risotto with champagne, amazing pastas, very good desserts, nice vine list and very helpful staff! Strongly recommended to visit!

Great dinner! We were all happy with our choices and kids were thrilled with the food and the fact that they had wifi! Delicious. A real hot spot for Venetians . The family is present and delightful the servers are all very nice. Great advice from a daughter concerning the wine as we chose several plates and meat and fish so we needed some guidance. Chic and sympa. We will be back!

Una bella cena, mi sono innamorato di questo posto pieno di ricordi e stile senza tempo. Saro' sicuramente di nuovo bravo!

Gentilezza, benvenuto, bella posizione e ottimo cibo tutto ma perfetto ho mangiato davvero grande e poi tutto bello anche i dolci poi anche antipasto da melanzane a speck . ma anche il primo consigliato
