Friendly owner, musichetta that accompanies the arrival of the dishes (sound all evening!!!! Also. Basic dishes, but very generous.
Fast, fast shift for work. The best option was to eat a pizza on the fly and run away on the next date. I knew about this pizzeria there next to the office, but I thought it was just one of those little piff takeaways, run by North Africans. And if you want me to have only five euros in my pocket, just for a daisy. I'm coming in. I ask if you can eat it there, the pizza, since where I find myself there is no lack of a chair or a bar where to rest it. Pizzaiolo tells me: Sure, get upstairs, you can. I swear, I didn't trust the stairs. What if it was the dorm and I jumped in three? And instead, upstairs, unsuspectable, there was a beautiful restaurant. Oh, my God, maybe not, but compared to the initial expectations, it was the Savini! Tables, chairs, laundry tablecloths, glasses, bar counter, a huge aquarium with fish, paintings on the walls, everything clean and linen, a huge plasma TV... Who was waiting for him? Thinking about my five euros I was ashamed. I'll come back down and tell him I only have that money, I'm not able to pay him the cover, I can bring them tomorrow. I was embarrassed, and instead, with a smile, he says: No problem, sit, eat... I'll get you some water. I really paid only five euros. That's all I'm adding. In fact, yes. I knew that if below it seems only pizzeria, above the menu is wide and varied, fresh and genuine, from pasta to fish to desserts. Just go. Enjoy.
I booked with the Fork in this at this pizzeria/restaurant, as from reviews it seemed to be a place where you eat a good pizza. I book with The Fork, I get the confirmation message and by scrupul I call the restaurant to know if they have received my reservation, but I receive negative response. After a succession of phone calls, they tell me that my reservation was not there, but to go the same as they would apply me the discount. (Working in the field I know that this kind of bookings are instantaneous.. but let us run... Once we arrived we were greeted by the maid who made us sit and brought us a brochure (from takeaway evidently decantating that we would eat one of the best pizzas... after 2 minutes came a second waiter and left us the menus real (of course the pizzas did not match.. I asked explanations about which menu to watch and told me there was no difference. (Bah! I didn't get discouraged, we ordered the pizza and as a starter I took some fries (I think the buffalo pizza only had the name. I ate a couple of slices but I had to leave it practically all, because it was not at all good (both from a point of view freshness and quality of the ingredients.
Mario gives us lunch at noon. The food is good and well maintained and in adequate quantities, the ingredients it uses are evidently fresh and of good quality. Mario is also very caring and always tries to process menus close to our tastes. Meat and first very valid.
Looking for a pizzeria within walking distance from where we were and that it was open Monday we arrived at Mario. The restaurant is located in an apartment on the first floor above the takeaway pizzeria. the first impression is that of a squalid and untreated place and at eight in the evening completely empty. The table table table tablecloth was sporty and despite my son wanted to leave immediately we stayed because we had read some positive reviews about the pizza but not on the rest of the dishes served. We ordered a daisies and a daisy queen with buffalo. Pizza despite some reviews from other customers is one of the worst that my son and I have ever eaten. Made with electric oven, dry and lacquer and with low quality ingredients. The buffalo was made with mozzarella that should not even bear this name. Left in half. Also the place is not even so cheap. Prices aligned to Milan. We'll never come back.
