Twisted Murphy's - Corpus Christi

The restaurant has plenty of warm and friendly staff, all eager to enjoy some sweet and bitter drinks. However, the waitresses’ attitudes could use some improvement. I may not have looked particularly impressive when I walked in, but every dollar spent—whether mine or someone else's on my behalf—should guarantee a certain standard of quality. Nothing less! Additionally, after just one drink, I shouldn’t have to wonder if the next one is going to be harmful. It’s important for the waitresses to treat all customers with kindness, not just the regulars or men they know who frequent the bar. New customers and tourists deserve a safe, enjoyable experience. Isn’t great hospitality supposed to be a hallmark of Texas?

We dropped by this place a bit late on a Wednesday and really wish we had arrived sooner. They do have big TVs showing sports, which was exactly what we were looking for to catch a baseball game, but we missed that. As we entered, a small band started playing, and they were actually quite good! I think their name was something like Broke... something or other, and I really enjoyed their performance. The crowd seemed to be mostly in their early to mid-30s. We ordered a huge pizza at the bar, and it was pretty tasty. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

This restaurant is consistently a fantastic spot to connect with locals. The atmosphere is lively, and there’s a large widescreen TV to catch all the sporting events. It's a great place to enjoy some delicious local Texan beers, and the sizzling hot pizza is absolutely incredible.

I would be here every night if I lived in CC. The staff is quick. The pizza will be amazing. The beer is cold. It's a nice temperature in here. Smells like what a bar should smell like. Clean like a bar should be. Easy to find. Ample parking in front. Why are you not here with us doing shots?

Not a bad place but not the best downtown has to offer. The beer selection is lacking and the drinks are a bit weak. The staff, from what I can tell is all female, are good. They aren 't high energy and take their time serving people even when there are only four or five people in the place. It 's not an after work get together place. It 's more a quick drink and leave kind of place and you leave because there are more guys in the place than females. I was sitting at the bar and a guy walked up looked at my friend and me and asked if we were staying long. We stated we were not sure and he told us he gets a few shots in him and likes to fight. My buddy said, well that 's good because I like to fight too. He smiled and walked off with his drinks. The bartender laughed and told us to ignore him he fucks with everyone. Knowing this why do they allow this fool in their place to run off business. We had almost finished our drinks and were leaving when the fighter walked back over. Before he could say anything my friend stood up as if to leave looked at him and laughed. This place blows. Big time. They need to get rid of the element that chased off customers and make it lady friendly. For now it 's a waste.
