Scoopy's Veranda Ice Cream Shoppe

I cannot express how happy this place makes me. Nothing better than ice cream after a beach day. Every detail, from the oysters on the floor to the new blue bell flavors that i have never seen before, and a lovely view. This has become a favorite for meand my family.

What a delightful little ice cream shop. When we walked in, the place was packed. There were over a dozen people in line yet Our Server Stephanie E. was doing a great job getting everyone what they wanted promptly. We ordered the Banana Splits which took alittle longer than cones or cups but she not only made them look appealing but also very quick and with a smile the wholetime. We thanked her for her quick service and reminded her of although she was working alone. Hopefully, she gained all thetips that were left for the day. The outside view of Dusk was spectacular. We saw mullet swimming just a few feet away and nojoke... even a 3.5 foot shark breach the surface 4 times traveling along the banks of the intracoastal canal. It wasn't adolphin believe me. It was a delightful evening to spend with someone you care about. Service was great, ice cream was great,and the view was great. Thank God for another day ending great. Thank you Scoopy's, We will be back again.

Scoopy's would be a pretty unremarkable ice cream shop if not for the exceptional service and great view outside. My only complaint is that the very sweet and hardworking attendant was left all by herself with a line of customers while there were abunch of employees just standing around next door at parent restaurant Snoopy's.

Good ice cream basic flavors, sandwiches, cheesecake slices and drinks. Was very full when visited but line moved quickly. Had inside and outdoor seating.

The young lady at register was very friendly and patient as we had to get 6 orders in. Very delicious ice cream and not soft and melted. The waffle cone was sweet and crunchy. Will definitely visit again and tell my relatives to stop when on North PadreIsland.
