Cove Club - Corpus Christi

The Bay is a welcoming neighborhood bar that's perfect for everyone! The atmosphere is lively, and the patrons feel like family. As a current employee, I can say that the management and owner provide excellent supervision and support—especially when we were closed due to COVID. I've been working here for over three years, and it's the best place I've ever been a part of. Come by and enjoy a drink! We can't wait to welcome new customers!

I would give it a 0. The bartender was rude, and she was drinking on the job.

The owner, Wes, comes off as incredibly self-centered and difficult to work with. He has a tendency to fire employees if things don’t go his way, often shifting the blame onto others, much like his former manager, Crystal. She transformed the bar's atmosphere with her choice of colors, lighting, and decor, making it more inviting. Wes seems to take advantage of his staff, often resorting to emotional manipulation and public humiliation. Crystal was a tremendous asset to the bar, and her departure was mishandled—Wes let her go in a drunken state without fully understanding the reasons, as both he and the staff have commented. After this experience, I cannot see myself returning to this bar. It's truly disappointing.

I am a patron of the bay since It was honey bees ham.. I'm not loud. when I tried to say goodbye at one point!!

Seriously if you did not know it was there, you'd drive right by. Fun little off the radar spot that has UBER cold beer, that is so refreshing on the hot Corpus Christi afternoons/evenings. No tap beers, though what was fun to see was the dressed Corona's and Modelo's. Internet jukebox so there are lots of options there. A nice pool table is there for those that wish too shoot, a game or 5 or 6! Bathrooms were clean a well protected patio, that there is a bit of a garden thinking fresh mint and or basil for some drink specials.... #corpuschristi #coldbeer #beer #cold #drinklocal
