Chops Eggs - Corpus Christi

I waited about 5 minutes to be seated, and ended up in a crowded area. The server was fantastic, but unfortunately, the kitchen messed up my order, causing a long wait of about an hour. I was really hungry, but the meal was definitely worth the wait!

No outdoor seating available. The menu offers many vegan options, including dishes featuring mung bean "egg" scrambles.

I had brunch at The Planets on Saturday! The service was a bit slow, but it was a busy morning. However, the fact that they offered great vegan options that weren't just sweet treats was fantastic. I loved The Planets, and the portion sizes were generous! The vegan eggs and vegan meat were delicious. My friend ordered the Waldburger and was a bit disappointed, but that was his own fault for not noticing that it only came with a mushroom instead of the vegan meat like the Planet Burger. Overall, it felt like a real community spot!

Two choices for a vegan omelette! The Impossible Beef version was outstanding in my 20 year history as a vegan diner. The chefs know their business. A fluffy, browned Just Egg omelette with the perfect ratio of veggies to egg , actually browned, seasoned, well presented....I cannot emphasize how much more delicious this was than ANY vegan breakfast I 've had in decades. Bravo!
