Beach Taco Shack - Coronado

We had an incredible day at the beach! We opted for the $50 per person luxury beach day package, and it was definitely worth the price. However, we did notice that there weren't enough waitstaff in the dining area. We ended up purchasing our own drinks at the hotel bar.

The best shrimp taco I’ve ever had! The drinks are fantastic too! It is a bit pricey, but if you’re on a budget, it's worth considering!

We tried the beef, fish, and shrimp tacos, along with chips and salsa. I enjoyed the fish the most, followed by the shrimp and then the beef. While these tacos aren’t on par with what you might find at a typical taco stand or at Salud, they come with a unique ambiance that those places lack. I especially enjoyed the salsa, which was made with guacamole, and the chips were decent too. For the two of us, the food was quite filling. It’s a great spot for an early afternoon on the beach. Great location for snack and drink. It's on the pricey side but you are paying for the prime location. Great views for sunset or people watching. The table and chairs are right on the sand with umbrellas. Would come again with out of town friends for classic Coronado beach experience.

Long lines and long wait, but worth it. Spicy shrimp tacos were the best! Daily catch was a bit dry, but a healthy chunk of fish.
