The freshly made sandwiches were beautifully presented at this restaurant. We also enjoyed some delicious scones and chocolate cake. The host was very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed.

We had a lovely Cornish cream tea on a rainy and blustery day. The scones were soft and warm, served with delicious strawberry jam and clotted cream. The staff was friendly and provided great service.

My wife and I visited the last three years the old pilchard pressecafé and are always impressed. their scenes are not crispy at the outside, then they melt in the mouth. this year we took our family, six adult and four grandchildren. the personal was so helpful and provided the grandchildren with books, papers and pencils to keep them amused before our order. I had the special smoked makrele pate and toast, I chose granary toast and it was spectacular and they delivered extra toast to use all my pate. it is an excellent ground without going to the other attractions ins mousehole. we're coming back.

We stopped by after walking to Lamorna and back dog in tow. They don’t take dogs but were very welcoming and happy to do a takeaway. Freshly made (garlicky) tzatziki and gorgeous mackerel pâte with warm pitta bread, followed by delicious homemade chocolate cake...and clotted cream yum! We’ll be back!
