Good fish and chips. Not oily; nice, hot, fresh and crisp. Warm sticky toffee pudding was delicious with a blob of ice cream; nice and buttery. Pint of St Austell Proper Job by the open log fire.
They do a decent burger, with optional fried egg. Very welcome after a long cliff top walk. St Austell beers on tap, tastey stuff. Also they have a few rooms to rent. Memorably friendly staff.

Nice friendly staff and good arrangement with separate area for dogs. Dogs are great but not everyone wants to eat their meal with someone else’s dog up at the table or on the furniture so well done for this!. Service: 4 Location: 5
