Not great food to be honest. £21 for a steak meal. This was really poor. Utter disapointment. Ploughman's was ok but won't return for food. Its not up to scratch, sadly

What amazing food. Booked in for Sunday dinner. Food was great can't fault it at all, had the large roast. Meat was lovely veg was great not stewed. The staff are amazing nothing was too much trouble at all the did not stop all the time we were there. Definitely be back highly recommended

Myself and family stopped of here for dinner on the way home and wish we never did. Firstly we ordered three Pepsi max and one J20. 10 mins later the rude waitress (who name was Hannah I believe) came up to us and said they haven't got any Pepsi max just coke. So we got that changed. We then ordered our meal, 25 minutes later the same rude waitress came over and said the pie I ordered has now sold out so I need to pick something else. I wouldn't of minded but it had already been 25 mins by this point and only just telling me this now. Then nearly 30 minutes later our food finally arrived, Two gammon's came right, my gammon came with sweet potato fries which I did not order. When I questioned it they said they would fix the mistake but it would be another 10 mins. By this point it was nearly an hour after we first but the order in and did not want to wait any longer. We will not be going back there.

Beautiful food , but please be careful when paying your bill .. we were charged twice for one of our meals , honest mistake ???.. luckily my son totaled up our complete meal an queried it when we received our bill.... everything was sorted, no apology though...!!...

My partner and i went here for lunch. Its is a beautiful old pub, with plently of seating areas inside and outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great, Very tasty and cooked well. Great value for money, especially as they use high quality produce. I would highly recommend this pub to anyone
