We visited this pub, in Oct 2010 while on weeks hol in Cornwall.Front of building was looking a bit shabby but inside is better, well kept beer especially...
We have visited this restaurant before and decided to make a reservation again while passing through near Wadebridge. The food is consistently delicious and the atmosphere is pleasant. The staff is very friendly. Dogs are allowed in the bar area and there is plenty of parking space available.
We visited the pub for Sunday dinner shortly after arriving in the area, and ended up stopping in a few more times for a drink during our stay. We were very pleased with the delicious Sunday dinner and the friendly staff. The prices for drinks were a bit high, but that seems to be the norm these days. The pub was always busy in the evenings with reservations for food, making it feel more like a restaurant than a traditional pub. It's on the smaller side, so it's best to make a reservation if you want to eat. If you just want to relax and have a drink, it's best to go before 5pm. Overall, we would recommend a visit to this pub.
We went here for an evening meal. Booked ahead and were welcomed as we entered . The food and drink was excellent and it was great to have a really good pub meal again. We enjoyed the homemade pie and mussels. Homemade and fresh from...the sea locally. A lovely evening with great staff and a great Cornish welcome.
