Newquay Cafe - Cornwall,Isles of Scilly

We visited here and had two cappuccinos and a piece of carrot cake each. Needless to say they were both superb. The staff were very friendly warm and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit with outdoor seating also. Loved it here felt at home. Excellent value...for money.

Used twice on our holidays. Very friendly staff and great service provided. The cakes on offer were tasty and gave a good choice.

On our first visit to Cornwall we were pleased to have come across this restaurant. Well placed with good views across the harbour. We visited just after the Christmas festivities on what turned out to be a quiet night with only two other tables occupied...and our table alone for an hour or so. That didn’t detract from a great evening. I imagine the summer months are very busy so booking is a must. Not a huge venue but that’s to its advantage, warm and welcoming and friendly staff. The food itself was delicious, starters consisted of crab claws, yes some effort required but so worth it for the sweet meat, anti pasta platter, generous portion and good variety. Mains were steak with garlic butter, perfect, pork ways, sublime and salmon pasta, simple but tasty. Apple crumble pudding rounded it off beautifully. Wine and beer choices were good too. A visit from the Chef as we left added to the experience. All in all an excellent night and would definitely visit again if in the area and would encourage others to try it too, you won’t be disappointed.
