Contribuiți la feedbackWe went on a pizza night, and I can honestly say that I haven't had better pizza outside of Italy! When the fires were lit as it got darker, the place had a magical quality. Highly recommended.
Beautiful spot at an old water mill, fantastic cakes, lovely friendly staff. Loved how the birds came and sat on our table for crumbs!
Really lovely cream tea for gluten and dairy intolerant. Pretty and relaxing place to indulge by the pond.
On our last full day of our short summer staycation in the beautiful village and harbor of St Mawes, we decided to have a snack lunch at a quaint café we had noticed on our drive back from exploring the lower coast of Cornwall. The café, located in a tranquil spot at Melinsey mill, offered a simple menu due to the end of the season. Although we were unable to try the outdoor pizza oven, we enjoyed a delicious lunch of home-cooked ham salad and tuna sandwiches with crisps. The bread was fresh and soft, and the teas and coffees were also quite satisfying. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience in a peaceful setting.
I stumbled upon this restaurant while out for a walk. It's tucked away and, as the name suggests, is housed in an old mill. I had possibly the best cream tea here! This place is a must-visit.
