Margaret's Rustic Tea Garden

Travelled here with small children, as it was advertised openly. it was not pointed out that it was closed. return home hungry and disappointed.

I wanted to give this 3.5 stars as his above average, but I wouldn't say very well at the moment. why and only my opinion. as a native I went when it was margarets teestuben. it had a wonderful charm that came from the afternoon teaspoon all with whispers of cream and jam, served on vintage dishes. tea served in vintage tassen. it felt special. since the takeover I took part twice. the scones are beautiful and light, just as they were always and I was so glad to see more cakes for sale at the theke. However, I felt how it was served very let it down and let me feel disappointed. it now served in takeaway fish and chip type boxes with cream and jam, serviette and plastic knives and fork. I guess this is much easier for the server than its something that can be created in advance, but I felt what gave this place its charm and its uniqueness was not only its location, but the way it was served. Maybe his covid is related? although we have served other creams elsewhere on plates. it is a shame because this place is so big and eating is so beautiful. this is not a negative evaluation, as I recommend to go, especially coupled with a beautiful walk. I just hope that the way it is served will change soon, so that it can capture the unique charm she had again.

We visited Beth and Paul at the tea room today and had a lovely experience. Friendly service and a beautifully fresh cheese scone with a perfect mug of tea in a perfect setting. Thank you, we will be back

Visited the tee gardens in august, what an absolute gem! love the place, eating was amazing and the friendly couple they could meet. all these 1 star reviews are clearly humans that they never like, and certainly not in...their miserable company sat in the gardens anyway! will definitely return, beth and paul they are both the best people of all time. if I could give 10 stars, then I would x
