Cornish Maids

I was just checking out the opening hours for Cornish Maids today and noticed a negative headline review. However, after reading through the rest of the reviews, it was clear that the majority were great. The negative review came from individuals from London who believed that pasties should be mostly meat with little potato. Traditionally, pasties were meant for miners, farm workers, etc. and the main filling would be vegetables. If you're looking for a meat pie, you can easily find one at the supermarket. I say forget about your diet and treat yourself to a Cornish Maids pasty for lunch, as they are excellent. If you want to change Cornwall, then stay at home.

The best Cornish pasties are so delicious and filled with plenty of filling. The gluten-free options are the best my father has ever had. The staff is lovely and friendly, always accommodating.

This restaurant serves authentic Cornish pasties that are handmade on site. The Cornish pasty with swede is especially delicious. According to my son, who lives in South America, they are the best in Cornwall. The staff is friendly and attentive. In addition to fresh pasties, they also sell frozen ones for takeaway. It is recommended to call ahead to order, as they are very popular with locals. Just a heads up, they are closed on Wednesdays!

Beverly and her team continue to provide excellent pasties which are so much like a home-made version I used to have as a child. You are always met with a warm welcome when you visit the shop. The smell of cooking hits you as you enter! I always look forward to one of Beverly's pasties when I am in Camelford.

We are locals and without fail every week we have pasties from cornish maids. Couldn't ask for friendlier staff. The best gluten free pasties and proper cornish pasties around.
