Tiny Table - Cornwall

The Tiny table was mine and my mother's place. We loved this place very much, but I am so disappointed, needed to treat it. My mother bought me a gift certificate for my birthday of $25. As... any personal situation during this time was different, we had a rough time in recent years. And now the days, everyone fights financially. Finally, after going rough, we decided to use the certificate and Tiny Table wouldn't honor it. I couldn't believe a local small business didn't pay $25 for my older mother. A good local business continues to work on customers like my mother and I who have enjoyed this place very much. Unfortunately, I can't eat there because of this little greed.

I love rice rolls, our salad roll or spring rolls the name depending on the restaurant and the city. The rolls were good, obviously fresh, quite small, but they lacked something on the flavor side, they were mixed. No mint leaf, mix. The peanut butter sauce was a bite better, but not waouh! I have to say that the complications of getting them and paying for them have not helped.

I'm glad to travel 40 minutes from town to have their Pho. Always order low sodium, veggie broth and there are ALWAYS enough. Raw spring rollers are also amazing. In the times before COVID, live music was so pleasant.

Food is great, but do not expect the take-out service to be anything but annoying. The first time I called in order and when I got there, they didn't know anything about it, so I wait. When I got it home, it had shrimps in him... what I told them explicitly that they were not able to eat it. They called them and they were apologetic. Give me a loan. Great. It was estimated. Quick forward 4 weeks. Again tried. Call. I have to pick up. They didn't know. When I mentioned the loan, they didn't know anything about it. So frustrating. Something that should be fast and easy was a pain. I'm sorry. I can't give you my business anymore. “Take outers” you were warned. Be careful.

I visit tidy table regularly. Love their soup and spring rolls. Price is write. Small restaurant but very cozy.
