Manzanita - Cornville

The food was served cold and was not very enjoyable. I dined in for dinner, and the meal cost over $100 per person. I would rate the food a 2 out of 5, the service also a 2 out of 5, but the atmosphere was quite nice, earning a 4 out of 5.

What a true find! We can't wait to return time and time again! The menu is intriguing, featuring schnitzel among other delightful options. We started with the crab cake appetizer, which was packed with crab and one of the best I've ever had. For my main course, I chose the pumpkin soup, which was absolutely the best I’ve ever tasted, alongside the beef medallions that were both flavorful and tender. My husband opted for the elk and really enjoyed it, noting that it didn’t have a gamey taste at all. For dessert, we shared the carrot cake, which was delicious. The service was excellent; our server was attentive without being overbearing. While the decor is elegant with white tablecloths, the atmosphere remains relaxed. We ended up spending more than an hour savoring the entire experience.

We are visiting from Grand Junction, CO, and came to Cornfield to meet up with friends. We were eager to try some authentic German cuisine, and it did not disappoint! Everything was fantastic—from the hostess to our server, Brandine (I might be misspelling her name). We started with cocktails (the Love Potion), followed by appetizers (the Escargot). For our main courses, we had Wiener Schnitzel, Pot Roast, and Kangaroo, and all of them were delicious! The local wine complemented our meal perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant!
