The Bookshelf Coffee House - Cork

Lunch time pop in. Food Food was very tasty. Efficient service. Small but good menu. Service Server listened to request and respected food preferences. Another server noticed sun (yes rare in Ireland! in the eyes of a patron, adjusted blinds to increase customer comfort. Location Central to the city, very near the City Hall and the Elysian. Parking adjoining. Near the drop off/collection for the park and ride bus. So handy as you arrive or before you leave the city.

Food was exceptional! Staff were welcoming, upbeat and provided great service. We had bottomless and drinks were refilled attentively. Highly recommend the bookshelf

Gorgeous breakfast and really friendly service. The standard of the ingredients was really excellent. My second visit to cork and my second visit to the Bookshelf, I’ll be back again!

The food was amazing the spiced beef and bacon and cabbage were my two favourites. It was a fantastic night start to finish well done to all the staff for making it such an enjoyable night.

I had the bookshelf benedict. It was delicious. The eggs were the right amount of runny and the brown bread had a hint of what I think, nutmeg or cinnamon. It paired nicely with the basil and Parmesan hollandaise sauce. Staff were so kind, it really enhanced our experience there. I also had a caramel iced latte and hands down, the best coffee I’ve had thus far. Will definitely be back.
