It's the first place in Cork I started. Beautiful park. Great playground my wee man loves it. Interesting exhibition. And the Museum itself is just Class.
The museum admission is free of charge and it is informative hence the 3 stars, but the organisation was chaotic and so was the exhibition. We could not find directions where is the start and continuation and came across people who seemed to be busy talking but it was hard to tell who was a visitor and who could actually be of help with more information. It was okay for a free entry, but it would be nice if there were more interactive aspects to it. I found it a bit difficult to follow.
Great as a halfway stop between Elizabeth Fort and the cork city gaol.
Lovely bit of Ireland history especially around the 1920s and the Irish Civil War. Highly educational, and absolutely cost free.
