Wgat a great place for food and craic. Had a few meals here over our weekend and all of them were delicious. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and we’ll definitely be back next year

Had dinner with my family here while camping on the island recently, myself and my husband both had a delicious curry I was extremely impressed, just what we needed after a rainy day in the tents, a real comfort meal! Atmosphere and service was 10/10 we where really made to feel at home by the staff, excited to hopefully return

The staff are friendly. The food is extremely poor. We ordered nachos to start, followed by a vegetarian curry and a chorizo pasta. None of the three dishes were even of a reasonable quality. Really disappointing.

A strenuous cycle and push) up the hills of cape clear via the north harbour and the south harbour until we faced the final steep hill by the old hostel to our accommodation for the night. It was worth it! We were greeted by Trina who runs the BnB with her mother, I believe. She was very welcoming, showed us our room and invited us for tea or coffee and delicious scones. We relaxed into the lovely slow island feeling of cape clear and listened to Trina's info and advice. In particular, the hills are so steep, if one of the old cars and they are old) is coming towards you, GET OUT OF THE WAY! We took that advice. She had lots of other info about the lovely loop walk, the goat farm ice cream, the farm shop best coffee on the island) , nice place to swim see photo but beware of jellyfish) ....The rooms were spacious, very clean and airy. The beds were v comfortable. We had a nice breakfast plus a nice chat with triona about her travels in Morocco. She sold it to us. Might go there for our next overseas trip. A lovely visit, lovely host

The clancy moloney familys have been visiting cape clear for over 15 years but this year was the best. ROISIN running the pub now and food was Bril. Lovely place to chill with a few drinks and service with a smile. Can't wait to get back.
