Skimo's Restaurant Bar - Cordova

I forgot to take pictures! But we ordered the meat lovers pizza and it was delish. My fiancée has the chicken pasta and my son the Cheeseburger and loaded pommes. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. The drink was kind of expensive. $13 for a small margarita on the rock with parasols, but I got no buzzz and I have a low alcohol tolerance.

Some friends here for dinner and drinks, which is a great experience. Local, friendly staff, great food and atmosphere. I have dined at the bar so that I had a great view of the staff prepping, cooking and serving some delicious food and pizzas. The faux wood fired furnace is neat, but I love the smell of a real one. If you want a unique (non-chain restaurant) experience, support your locally owned skimo's.

The only thing I'd ding is how fast we were greated. Service was a little slow , but if i recall correctly there were only 2 wait staff members. Food was delicious and came out in a reasonable amount of time.

Very nice place to hang, food is well prepared and service is great. Try Skimos, I promise it won't be your last time..
