El Porton Mexican - Cordova

I love this El Porton! The staff is so friendly and funny. The food is always delicious. It's a fantastic place for excellent food and a good time.

I really enjoy the atmosphere at El Porton Cordoba! It's easy to go and eat with family style. Ronald and his wonderful staff always remember the regulars and make them feel welcome.

We had a pretty good dining experience on our first night in Germantown/Memphis. The interior of the restaurant was a bit unusual, with a large room, a high deck, and wooden beams overhead. There was also a strange smell in the restaurant at first, but I couldn't quite place it. However, it didn't bother me after a while. We were seated promptly, received attentive service, and our food arrived quickly and hot. The salsa served with the chips was pleasantly spicy, which we enjoyed. Overall, we all liked our meals, and I would consider this restaurant a success. I recommend trying the vegetarian enchiladas plate.

Wow!! This was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Our server was beyond personable, and the food was delectable to say the least. And the portions were incredibly generous. Even though I live 45 minutes away, I will definitely be coming here again because it is well worth the drive.
