Lo de Villalpando Cocina y Vinos de Salta

Really traditional place with a beautiful atmosphere, great service and excellent food. It has a very good selection of options (also for vegetarians) and the prices are very reasonable! Definitely recommended!

The attention of the staff is very good. I tried the Empanadas and was really delicious. The proposal was Cabrito al horno de barro con papas y batatas . You must join this kind of meal, but you did not like it. I think it was very good... prepared. I just liked the Batatas (sweet potatoes) but I wanted to taste the typical food, so... I went to 25 Mayo street.

In Argentina a lot is made by steak houses and pizzerias, but unfortunately not so many restaurants mark the rest of authentic Argentine cuisine. Lived with a host family in Argentina during my college years and experiencing the true breadth of Argentine cuisine, go to... Lo de Villalpando resonated with me in a very nostalgic way. If you want to taste Argentine favorites like Locro, Choripan, Empanadas and much more, then this is your place. You also have a fantastic wine selection. Although we had lunch there, this place would be a great date. A must when you visit Córdoba and enjoy fantastic and authentic local cuisine.

This restaurant serves authentic Argentine dishes from the north. All wine and food was absolutely delicious and the Empanadas were the most beautiful I tried in South America! Service was also brilliant.

And is not expensive, so.. go for a wonderfull meal of argentinian meat or inca´s dishes like quinoa
