Playa - Córdoba

Sitio muy agradable en medio del parque. Se puede ir a desayunar, comer y cenar. El Salmorejo está espectacular, la parrillada de verduras muy rica también y el rabo de toro estaba bueno

Celebramos ayer el bautizo de nuestro hijo en la terraza, que cerraron para nuestro evento, y solo tenemos palabras de agradecimiento para el equipo de profesionales de este restaurante. La atención desde el incio ha sido excelente, dándonos todas las facilidades para que todo estuviera a nuestro gusto. Los invitados estuvieron encantados, la atención fue de diez y pendientes de cada detalle. Lo recomendamos sin duda.

Almuerzo bien tener un menú variado además de un menú bastante variado la única queja que mi flamenquí estaba bastante frito pero correcto cerca de la buena estación de tren Terraza

It had been a hot day of sight seeing and we were looking for a place to eat before our train trip back to Seville. We spotted this place which is nestled in some lovely parkland and decided that it would be a good place...to eat. There were many people outside, in the heat but the only table available to us was inside, where it was a little cooler. The decor inside the restaurant can only be described as old and in need of a good clean and update. The waiter who seated us appeared to have no English and the menu was in Spanish. With a bit of hit and miss we ordered some food and a glass of wine. The service from the waiter was nothing short of appalling and he served us with disinterest and unfriendliness as if we were disturbing his day! We were not sure if the food and wine would be edible but much to our surprise it was amazing. The wine was great, though was it was will remain a secret as it was poored at the bar and the bottle was never shown to us. The first food that arrived at the table was some fresh bread rolls with beautiful fresh tomatoes and olive oil. This was followed by ham and calamari wonderful, great flavours. The food was so good we ordered some coffee. All excellent value for 40euros! By the time the coffee came another younger waiter had appeared and had some English. He appeared to be happier to attend to our needs. When we left, I made a point of speaking directly to the surly waiter and expressing our pleasure at the wonderful meal we had eaten. He managed a surprised smile!! The food here is great, the service hopeless and it is interesting to see the replies from management to other tripadvisor reviews saying they are always improving'. One wonders how long it takes to improve in Cordoba!

I actually want to give this a lower rating, but I'll try to be fair. The food is very good here, and the location is pleasant with the terrace and the trees. But it's too expensive, and that waiter was such an donkey to me,...that I won't be going back. But to be fair, the food was good!
