Zinnanna Zinnanna - CORATO

We were celebrating Mother’s Day with our friends. They were overbooked and under staffed for the holiday. We were seated quickly with reservations but the waitstaff took nearly 20 minutes to take our order. Parking was difficult since parking is limited and their catering trucks took up space for handicapped people. We started our meal with three appetizers including potato pancakes, and crab cakes. These dishes were flat with taste. One of the other dishes of spedinni was so salty in the bottom. These didn’t arrive until after the entrees were served. This was because they were too busy in the back of the house with orders. Our entrees included spaghetti carbonara and chicken pappardelle. There a lot of oil in the bottom of the carbonara. Both lacked in flavor but quality of the ingredients was fresh. They were served hot and fresh but that didn’t make up for the lack of taste. Overall, only average experience. The desserts were excellent including the carrot cake. This was highlight of the meal.
