Vesta - Coralville

Food was great, server was awesome. Ancho pork tenderloin is in pic. Appetizer, beef wellington really good. My 2nd time here, 12-9-2023 went here for dinner. Ordered the same thing and wasn't near as good. Wellington was still good. Ice tea taste bad. They agreed it was not very good. They loose 2 stars for this. I believe in consistency. Service atmosphere was good. Other 3 people in party said it was cold inside.

Their Italian beef was godsend (even as takeout). Takeout fee however is kinda cheeky tho

We were in vesta some paints and were satisfied. recently we went back because they have the best nativity on Friday and Saturday and we love good nativity. aron was our friendly and attentive server. I ordered my meat rare and my nabeby asked for medium rare. it came with a really nice baked kartoffel and asparagus. my flesh had no pink or red in the middle, not rare, dry and hard to cut. I couldn't eat it and just leave it. Maybe I should have sent it back. at $41, it was an expensive committee. my man was not moderately rare, but he ate it. I said aron and he said he would tell them that it obviously means the kitchen. I'm probably not going back, certainly not because of the nativity.

The culinary experience in vesta was very disappointing compared to previous visits. the pizza was burned down. the main rib was ordered minimally rare, but was closer to well done. the brot that accompanied the humus was cut into 1/2” strip. not sure how to spread humus on this presentation. I will not return. is necessary.

The it area in beautiful and the personal was pleasant and attentive, but eating was just okay and the drinks were not good. I was confused as several courts we had ordered that had left off the ingredients, such as speck from the announced keilsalat (no wedge) and no black beans in the egg rolls. we ordered the blood orange old fashion as well as a traditional old fashion with manufacturers and as someone who often drinks these cocktails, it was quite obvious that the bar tender had no idea how to make them. the drinks were so bad that we didn't even finish them, and for $10 a drink that says something.
