Public Square - Coral Gables

I have been eyeing this cute chic little restaurant for a few months and finally decided to try it. To my surprise the food was superb! I was was surprised with every dish, but I think the crispy rice with truffles was my favorite, Oh and the brussel sprouts can't forget those (I had never tasted them with such flavor before). The sushi was fresh and literally melted in your mouth! I mean just everything was a 10! I don't think you can go wrong with this restaurant! As wellas the food the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Of course I will return, hopefully sooner than later!

Place was nice good vibe good start to a bad night. Drinks were great at the bar while waiting to be seated. Once seated it went down hill, server was not attentive on coming around the table on following up with drinks and refilling water. Appetizers came out one at a time, 5-10 minute a apart not even hot like if they have been sitting on the pass for some time. Dinner entrees took forever to come out of the kitchen waitress come by to tell us 5 minutes our food will be out30 minutes pass and still waiting. Eventually when the food is brought out to us it was cold but looked good and all this happening with the restaurant being more then half empty, imagine the service when the restaurant is full (good luck).Icing on the cake, I asked to speak to a manager and that took just as long as the food to come out, I had 3 servers come out to tell me if they can do anything for us, way to late. Finally the manager/ owner??? comes out to just give methe excuse that he had no cooks and he was doing the cooking but was walking around tables during the time we were there (must of had a twin). It is sad to have had such a bad experience when this place has so much potential. I will notrecommend this place to avoid any of these issues to happen to anyone else and I will not be a returning customer too. Hope they will correct their opportunities going forward.

Took my mom and family here for her birthday and we enjoyed the food and service. Some did complain of the chicken dish being dry but I loved the mushroom risotto, sushi, steak bites, wine, and the sexy drinks.....

We tried Public Square for the first time last night and sat down at 8 o'clock. We enjoyed our company and food so much we were there until 1030. We had a great server who was very attentive and answered all her power questions to the best of her ability. She even made suggestions that turned out to be very good ideas. We would definitely go back again.

Love this place! Their happy hour specials are 10/10, the sushi rolls are amazing and so are the drinks!
