La Dorada - Coral Gables

What a fantastic dining spot! They not only have an outstanding wine list but also offer friendly service. Be sure to try the chipirones and cazón as appetizers – they're a must! The gazpacho soup is also well-prepared and worth sampling. For the main course, I recommend the bacalao; it's fairly priced for the area and the portion size is quite satisfying. This place is definitely a must-visit in Coral Gables!

Fantastic food—definitely the best Spanish cuisine in town! Domingo, the owner, provides exceptional personal attention. The paella is outstanding. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience with the fantastic Spanish cuisine and outstanding friendly service. Everything was perfect—each dish was packed with delicious flavors. It was a birthday celebration with a group of 14, and everyone couldn’t stop praising the food and the service. We definitely want to return!

My wife and I have dined at La Dorada's sister restaurants in Spain and had wonderful experiences. We decided to bring my mother to this restaurant on Christmas Day. We ordered the salt-encrusted Sea Bream (La Dorada, their specialty) and the seafood paella, both meant for two. The Sea Bream was prepared at our table and was just as delicious as we remembered. Unfortunately, the paella was a letdown, especially considering the price of $50. Marketed as seafood paella, it lacked sufficient seafood; we only found four or five small shrimp amidst a sea of cooked rice and tomatoes. If it had just been my wife and me, I would have returned it. So, I recommend going for the Sea Bream but skipping the paella. On a positive note, the service was excellent!
