Smaller buffet than i expected for a hard rock which was disappointing food was not hot enough at all fried drumsticks were usa gigantic size but only good if u got a hot piece rice was dried up and inedible dessert was the best with a mousse cake but soft serve not creamy at all not worth eating nice dark modern decor good service might be back for prime rib
Horrible. Very limited selection of food items. Fish was dry. Ribs were overcooked and dry. Chicken did not even look appetizing. Bacon was undercooked. Apple pie was disgusting. And this was the best offering of the poor lot of food places at this casino. Extremely disappointing.
I l starlight casino buffet , hey always say they have ham and you end up with fatty roast pork, the service sucks their dinner buns are always stale their gravy discusting
Buffets in Vancouver are usually miserable, when compared to those in Asia. So I did not have high expectations, especially since this is found inside a casino. I was pretty surprised by the lunch buffet spread. The selection was limited but hey, it was only $15, so you could not expect roast beef or raw oysters and fancy seafood and chocolate fountains and the likes. The dessert was pretty good. Besides the smaller petit fours bite size sweets, there were proper cake slices. They also changed the types of cakes when they were gone. There were also tarts and fruit pies, soft serve ice cream (vanilla and chocolate) and mini profiteroles. For the entrees and appetizers/salads, they were not too shabby either. I was a bit impressed they cared enough to get on with the times to have pumpkin/sunflower seed, mandarins, quinoa, artichokes, etc for the salad sections. The dishes for the entrees were a mix of international stuff when I was there adobo pork, tandoori chicken (looked scary but tasted ok), beef stew, fish (no fishy taste/smell), spring rolls, roast potatoes, grilled veggies, stir fry eggplant and tofu... Non alcoholic drinks were included and they would be brought to your table. You could also have juices too.
