Deer Garden - Coquitlam

This is really good Chinese food, especially in the Tri-Cities area, where it's often hard to find quality Chinese cuisine. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. However, my only complaint is the ambiance. It feels a bit cold and isn't very cozy. The decor is quite minimal, and there are no booth seats, which gives it a sparse feel. Because of this, I usually prefer to order takeout.

I went for lunch for the first time and really enjoyed everything we ordered. We had sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, fried fish, and corn soup. The portion sizes were generous, and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back to try more of their dishes!

I have ordered from this restaurant many times in the past, and it used to be excellent. However, my recent experiences have been quite disappointing. The quality of the food has declined significantly. The Hainan rice was stale and dry, and the HK-style baked spaghetti was simply unacceptable. It didn't even look like it had been baked properly; rather, it appeared to be thrown together in a hurry. Not only was it unappetizing to look at, but the taste was even worse. I ended up throwing it away. I definitely cannot recommend this place and will not be ordering from here again.

This charming neighborhood restaurant has a friendly staff and delicious food! You can't expect too much given the reasonable prices, but the milk tea is fantastic!

A simple Hong Kong-style Chinese restaurant that keeps things uncomplicated. The curry beef brisket is a standout dish that you shouldn't miss. It's deliciously flavorful without being too spicy.
